The carpet in Algeria has long been everyone's business All rural households had a weaving loom and it was part of traditional apprenticeship given the importance of sheep farming The Algeria carpet is noted for its authentic shapes and styles, even though crossed with modern touches nowadays.
There are four major carpet regions in eastern Algeria the great Nememchas and Haracas tribes in the Aures make original red, blue, and black colored carpets
